Dr Peter Steidl has carried out assignments in 16 countries on four continents and counts some 30 Fortune Global 500 companies amongst his clients. He has published several books, articles and manuals and has addressed a multitude of conferences in Australia and overseas.


His recent efforts (2009) include publishing two books under the Wiley imprint: Waking the Giant: Revitalizing the Mature Brand and Survive, Exploit, Disrupt: Action Guidelines for Marketing in a Recession and working on projects in Singapore, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Istanbul, Frankfurt and London as well as in Australia.

Peter is a generalist. He has been a Temporary Advisor to the World Health Organization, the Australian representative in a European Social Sciences project, the Austrian Hon. Consul for South Australia and the Northern Territory, and he has served on the Boards of not-for-profit health, welfare and arts organizations.


His current interests include exploring how management practices need to change as we move from a stable to a turbulent operating environment; the concept of the ingenious organization; visualization assisting intuitive decision-making; and various aspects of the cognitive sciences.
